Loving the fish soup

Not everyone believes in pre-race food bans. But I for one am totally religous about it. Coz it seriously does good for your body. Chowing down simple foodfare, non-oily, non-spicy really makes you feel better during training sessions. And of course you can perform better.

Somehow, fish soup and rice has come to be the examplary pre-race-food-ban dish for some of us. Perhaps coz it's soupy, non-oily, non-spicy, non-fried and healthy. So we (not everyone though, just the fish-soup lovers gang) end up eating it after every training.

For those who love to eat, pre-race food bans are always torturous. So the best way is to do it with fellow teammates. Wanna stick to eating the soupy, simple fish soup, we eat it together, so at least you know that there is someone else other than yourself missing out on the char kway tiao and laksa.

Or simply put, the workings of peer pressure or social servaillance.
